The Golden Masks
We are honored to announce that Arlekin was granted the award of the city theatre reviewers- the Golden Masks! The plural is not a mistake here as we won two Golden Masks. The Extraordinary Golden Mask was granted to Waldemar Wolanski, the chief director of our theatre for creating and continual enhancing, in our city and in the world, the International Festival of Solo Puppeteers. Hooray!!! For the first time in the whole tradition of Golden Masks Awards one has been granted to the puppet performance. Thereby the spectacle "The Crock of Gold" adapted and directed by Alina Skiepko-Gielniewska was favored. We are very happy and proud of that!
